Job summary :
In accordance with all practices/policies/standards adopted by K&D Group and as outlined in OSHA regulations will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and professional appearance of property, model suites, vacant units, and external areas. The housekeeper may be assigned to a designated internal or external area depending on the structure, staffing or demands of the property.

Essentials Functions:
  • Provide service to residents
  • Must have a positive attitude & be a team player: be willing and able to “cover” for fellow work associate when someone is out absent (sick or vacation)
  • Clean lobby daily including all glass areas
  • Sweep carpets
  • Clean elevators
  • Empty ash/trash bins
  • Remove and transport dumpster according to K&D compactor policy
  • Clean trash compactor room daily – mop as you go
  • Clean floors/mop all tile and linoleum
  • Clean all exit doors
  • Inspect stairwells and remove trash/debris
  • Clean leasing office/customer service offices
  • Monitors inventory of supplies and submits requests for replacement items to Maintenance Director
  • Replace light bulbs in public areas as necessary
  • Assists residents with routine requests
  • Assist in the preparation of vacant suites working with maintenance team to ensure apartment is prepared for new resident including cleaning of appliances
  • Inspects laundry room daily and removes lint from dryers, wipes down washers and dryers, sweeps and washes floors.
  • Clean windows as needed
  • Complete floor walk sheets and submit to maintenance director
  • Wash woodwork, doors and walls in lobby, hallways, elevators, and stairwells on a monthly basis.
  • Clean party rooms, fitness centers, and storage lockers on a monthly basis
  • Clean tracks on elevators and doors as directed by supervisor
  • All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director, Property Manager, or Area Manager

External
  • Keep exterior of property clean
  • Removal of snow using a snow blower, shovel, and salt
  • Light landscaping
  • Clean pool and outside area as scheduled by supervisor
