Job Description
Admissions Assistant
Initiates the admissions process by meeting with the patient and/or family and providing an overview of hospice services, and obtains or updates demographic information. Discusses advance care planning and provides resource materials. Reviews and obtains Consent for Services if requested by the patient or family.
Requirements
High school gratuate with post-secondary education in sales or communication preferred; one to two years experience in healthcare, preferably in hospice, oncology, public health or long term care; strong computer competency.
