Job Description
Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network, a not-for-profit long term care organization, operating three residential care communities for older adults and two community based services on the west side of Cleveland, is currently seeking an Administrative and Development Assistant.
The Administrative and Development Assistant will support the VP of Development with donor development as well as provide administrative support to the management of Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
· Provides support for the Director of Development in managing the donor database, correspondence, coordination of mailings including the annual fund, database maintenance and accurate processing of contribution income.
· Provides broad range of administrative support to the Executive Assistant including receptionist duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, distributing mail, ordering office supplies, preparing correspondence, word and data processing, filing, and record retention.
· Provides support to the Development/PR department in planning meetings and special events.
· Ensures office supplies and equipment, including postage machine, are maintained in satisfactory manner and creates new systems and solutions for purchasing supplies as requested and independently.
· Prepares conference room for meetings, including ensuring available refreshments.
· Performs miscellaneous support tasks, e.g. copying, sorting, organizing, running errands and delivering inter-office mail.
Qualifications for this position include:
· High school diploma or equivalent required with post high school coursework preferred.
· Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant preferred.
· Effective interpersonal relations skills, considerable judgment, leadership, flexibility, and initiative.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain/convey information in successful manner.
· Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to perform and manage multi-faceted projects in conjunction with daily responsibilities.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
· High degree of professionalism.
